Influences and inspiration

Our sound is rooted in what we call Beachgrass—a laid-back, toe-tapping blend of coastal country, southern rock, and front porch pickin’.

We’re heavily influenced by the storytelling of Jimmy Buffett, the grit of Lynyrd Skynyrd, the harmonies of The Eagles and Alabama, and the soul of Chris Stapleton and Tyler Childers. You’ll also hear the outlaw spirit of Johnny Cash, the raw energy of The Avett Brothers, the tight musicianship of Zac Brown Band, and the swampy swagger of Red Clay Strays. And yes—sometimes, even a little funk and flair à la Prince makes its way in.

Whether it’s a sing-along, a slow sway, or a backwoods barn burner, we pull from the best to create a show that feels familiar, fun, and totally unique.
