The Ron G Experience

We recently had the pleasure of hiring The Ron G Experience, a phenomenal saxophonist based in California, for my dad’s Homegoing service. Initially, we booked another performer who unfortunately did not meet our expectations, leaving us scrambling to find a replacement at the last minute. Despite his busy schedule, Ron graciously accommodated us when we explained the situation and the significance of having “Center of My Joy” played at the service.

Ron went above and beyond from the moment we contacted him. He took the time to ask about our attire and showed up impeccably dressed in matching colors. His sharp, prompt, professional, and warm demeanor immediately made him feel like a part of our family. Ron’s presence was a delightful surprise, especially for our family members who are musicians themselves.

His performance was nothing short of extraordinary. Ron started with a piece that captivated everyone in attendance, stopping people in their tracks. He concluded with our requested selection, moving many to tears of joy and awe with his immense talent. The emotional impact of his performance was indescribable.

A testament to his skill, when we first contacted Ron, he played a snippet of our song selection over the phone from his car using an electric guitar, as his regular acoustic guitar was not with him. Even without his regular instrument on him, he knocked it out of the park, demonstrating his remarkable talent and versatility without the need for practice.

Words cannot fully express our gratitude for Ron’s exceptional contribution to such a meaningful occasion. We will undoubtedly hire him again and highly recommend The Ron G Experience to anyone in need of a top-notch saxophonist who will exceed expectations and deliver an unforgettable performance. Ronald was on time. Set up was quick !! Interaction with audience was nice. Played jazz , contemporary jazz and R&B standards. Would highly recommend him for parties!!
