Overview

We play classic honky-tonk country music from the 50's to the 70's. A 6-piece band featuring soulful vocals, tight harmonies, twangy guitar and weeping pedal steel.

The Pitchforks Were the Highlight of the Fair

My husband and I enjoyed ourselves at the Sonoma County Fair and the highlight of its offerings was The Pitchforks performing at the main stage. We only planned on listening to the band for a couple of songs, but the musicians were such seasoned professionals, we ended up staying for the entire performance. We have been to three more of their gigs and have had so much fun dancing the night away.

Pro Band! Fantastic Music!

The Pitchforks are total pros. My event had problems, but The Pitchforks came prepared and conquered. Solid and reliable. Did their own sound and it was fantastic. The music: Wow! Old school classic country. Very authentic. This band sold me on staying away from typical cover bands that are all over the place. The Pitchforks create a vibe/mood that made the event memorable.

About

The Pitchforks play classic honky tonk and western swing from the days of true country. Think: Nudie suits and cowboy hats, not ripped jeans and trucker hats. Six professional musicians united in their love of the Bakersfield sound of Country music.
