The Pepper Moons

The Pepper Moons provide a high energy performance consisting of uptempo, danceable vintage music. The band also plays waltzes, western swing, cha cha, Latin rhythms, slow jazz, 1950s and oldies. The group has a large collection of timeless and most loved songs from the 1920s to the 1960s. If a song request is made ahead of time, the band can put their unique jazz arrangement on a popular modern day song of choice. Their energy is inspiring, encouraging everyone to dance and have an unforgettable time. They come dressed vintage to add to the old world atmosphere and are available to dress up for a specific vintage theme or era. The band can provide its own PA system.

The Pepper Moons began heating up the Southern California vintage music scene in 2022. Focusing on the elegant, pre-bop styles from the glamorous days of the Swing Era, the group is fronted by acclaimed singer/songwriter Eva Mikhailovna (Postmodern Jukebox, Eva & the Vagabond Tales), backed by a top-shelf quintet consisting of Mark San Filippo on drums (Tom Kenny & the High Seas, Andy Paley) and more of LA’s finest jazz musicians. They have quickly become a favorite among the swing dance and vintage community, filling historic jazz venues such as the Cicada Club in Downtown LA.
