Before the performance, we work with you to understand the atmosphere you want to create, your musical preferences, the event's flow, and any special requests. With a repertoire of more than 500 songs, we can shape the music around your audience and occasion.

Our performance can be as subtle or as engaging as the moment calls for. For cocktail hours, dinners, and receptions, we can create an elegant musical backdrop that complements conversation without overpowering it. When the music becomes a featured part of the celebration, we can bring more energy and interaction while always remaining attentive to the setting and audience.

Paty & Leo can perform as an intimate duo or expand into a trio, quartet, or quintet with saxophone, bass, drums, and other professional musicians. Leo oversees the musical direction and arrangements for each lineup, ensuring that every formation maintains the same level of musicianship and attention to detail.

We arrive prepared, punctual, and professionally presented. We can provide high-quality sound equipment, and for larger productions, our team can include dedicated sound technicians and crew to ensure a smooth setup and performance from start to finish.

We are happy to coordinate with event planners, venues, and other vendors when needed, and we can adapt our setup, attire, repertoire, and performance style to complement the event.

During breaks, we can provide background music to keep the atmosphere flowing, and we can discuss song or genre preferences in advance so the musical direction feels intentional and personal.

Paty & Leo’s story began in São Paulo, Brazil, where they first met while studying music in 2007. Both went on to build independent careers as professional musicians, performing and recording with some of Brazil’s most recognized artists before their paths crossed again more than a decade later.

In 2019, they reunited on stage for a concert. The musical connection was immediate, and in 2020, Duet Paty & Leo was born. What began as a collaboration soon became a shared artistic vision, bringing together Paty’s distinctive voice and rhythmic sensibility with Leo’s guitar playing, arrangements, and musical direction.

Since then, Paty & Leo have taken their music across the United States, Europe, and South America, developing a sound shaped by Brazilian music, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Latin influences, Pop, and the many musical experiences that have defined their careers.

Their 2021 album, Da Nossa Terra (From Our Land), revisited Brazilian classics through their own arrangements. In 2023, they recorded with acclaimed drummer Danny Gottlieb, known for his work with the Pat Metheny Group and Mahavishnu Orchestra. That same year, they performed in Paris alongside a band and choir of more than 40 musicians for an audience of 5,000, with the concert broadcast live internationally. In 2024, their journey continued with a tour of Italy and performances at festivals and venues throughout the country.

Paty Fernandes discovered her calling as a vocalist early on. She began college at just 16 and graduated with a degree in Popular Singing in Brazil. As a teenager, she won an international vocal competition that brought her to New York City to record alongside Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas. Her vocal work would later earn her a Grammy nomination.

For six years, Paty was part of the house band of Programa Raul Gil, one of Brazil’s best-known television programs, where she performed alongside prominent Brazilian and international artists. Before moving to the United States, she also recorded a live DVD with Brazilian singer-songwriter Mauricio Manieri, sharing the production with artists including Jon Secada. Her career combines years of live performance, recording, television, and a lifelong dedication to developing her craft as a vocalist and musician.

Leo Testoni began his formal music studies at the age 17, in Brazil when he enrolled in college. His career soon expanded across live performance, recording, musical theater, and music production. He toured with legendary Brazilian rock band Casa das Máquinas from 2010 to 2012, an experience that earned him a place on the Brazilian Rock Walk of Fame, and later performed in the Brazilian production of the Broadway musical Godspell.

In 2018, Leo released his debut album and DVD, Arranged & Spontaneous Sessions, featuring collaborations with musicians including Carl Verheyen of Supertramp, Faiska, and Sandro Haick.

In 2022, he received a full scholarship to pursue a Master of Music in Guitar Performance at Utah State University. During his time there, he performed with the USU Jazz Orchestra and Caine Jazz Combo, participated in musical theater productions, and performed at international festivals including Italy’s Umbria Jazz Festival. He earned his master’s degree in 2024.

Today, Paty & Leo bring these two extensive musical journeys together. Whether performing as an intimate duo or leading an expanded ensemble, their approach remains the same: thoughtful arrangements, refined musicianship, and a musical experience shaped around the audience and occasion.

We provide professional-grade sound and lighting equipment for most private, corporate, and special events, delivering a polished experience even when the venue doesn't provide its own production equipment.

We can adapt our setup to the size, layout, and technical needs of each event. For larger venues or productions requiring additional sound, lighting, staging, or technical support, we can coordinate additional equipment and crew as needed.
When a venue or another production provider already has a professional sound or lighting system in place, we are happy to coordinate directly with their technical team and integrate our setup with the existing production.
For most performances, we require access to a reliable power source and an appropriate, protected performance area with sufficient space for the selected lineup. Specific stage, power, sound, and setup requirements may vary depending on the number of musicians, venue size, and event format.
