What to expect

Denty & Westlake or the group DW3+ are a highly professional group performing Jazz, standards and groove oriented music.

About

Paul Westlake and Rob Denty are the core of the group DW3.
DW3 perform their brand of expressive, open and groovin' music primarily as a duo or trio.
Paul and Rob began their journey in Jacksonville, Florida 25 years ago where they co-founded musical groups marking the beginning of their collaboration. The early 2000s brought them both to Chicago where the duo found themselves deeply embedded in the thriving jazz scene.

Summer 2023, Rob relocated to Raleigh allowing a renewal of their shared musical aspirations. They look forward to the upcoming release, Denty Westlake, in the Fall of 2023. It is their first recording together since the 2006 release of “etched.”

Their musical tastes are diverse while remaining deeply rooted in the jazz tradition. The group’s repertoire includes originals and carefully chosen songs from the American and Jazz songbook focusing on originality and creative expression.
