I like to arrive early with the pipes already warmed up and tuned to make the event run smoothly.
Putting me in contact directly with your coordinator or director is the best way to ensure the pipes add to the day in the best possible way.

The highland bagpipes are an instrument that evoke a lot of emotion but they are also quite loud and are without volume control.
Make sure your venue (especially indoor venues) allows pipes before making a booking.
When appropriate a demonstration
may be arranged. This can be in-person or virtual.

Typical rates are about $200-$300 but may be expanded depending on the time requirements for your event.
I also need to charge a modest travel fee for events taking place more than 30 miles from Springfield Missouri. This fee is calculated and quoted based on the distance needed to travel.

I learned & played the highland pipes in High School and College ((phone number hidden)7-ish) but took a long hiatus as life and family took priority. In 2023 I started back up again and took right back to it (Just like riding a bike).
