We play often overlooked hit songs from the 60s, 70s, as well as swing era jazz. We purposely AVOID overplayed songs like Brick House and I Will Survive but we've revived many great songs of that era like Brandy, Hooked on a Feeling and Cool Night. Seriously, go to youtube check out that last song Cool Night by Paul Davis. We love him and our guitarist Rick Hinkle worked with him as well as many other artists like the TAMS...think beach music. And speaking of beach music - I'm a Girl Watcher by the O'Kaysions - we've brought that back too. We also LOVE the blues, BB King, Freddie King and the rockers who copied them, Led Zepplin, Stones, Stevie. And Motown...we love Motown.
Price Range: $500 per dude/dudette
What to Expect
Expect that MONDO will understand exactly our role in your event down to the last detail. We've played every kind of event imaginable and we have costumes, lighting, and communication skills that will keep most event planners very happy. We are always willing to go the extra mile to make a client satisfied. We arrive extra early to the event so equipment is assembled and ready to go hours before the event begins. No loud soundcheck, no feedback from the microphones, We bring the right stuff for the job, stand-up bass, ukelele, banjo.... whatever. We're careful not to damage anything - we've hand carried our stuff to protect rugs in the governors mansion and we'll do the same at your place if necessary. We can be funny and entertaining on stage or we can be laid back and just provide atmosphere.

We don't require anything special. Just electricity.
If you'll let us know the theme of the event, I'll send you a set list.
We are pretty good about picking the right songs. Of course we will work with you to get the mix exactly right. If we can't, we'll direct you to a band that can. We know people...
Influences & Inspiration
We are pretty well rounded musicians so our list of influences would be ridiculously long. We like a lot of bands around town and we're not afraid to list a few here even though they are our competition. We've filled in for some of their musicians because we're all pretty experienced and can jump right in to most situations. OK here they are , the BEST bands in Atlanta:
Party on the Moon- unbelievably good
Rupert's Orchestra - Just as good.
Mike Veal Band - classic rock done very well and they're unbelievably good too.
Yacht Rock Revue - they're awesome, especially with 70s, 80's, and Beatles.
On The Air with Del Baroni and Jennifer Hanson - unbelievably smooth swing band that can also rock.
the MONDO band - the band we love the most!
