We are an acoustic quartet that plays traditional country-oriented and folk-rock favorites from the 70's and earlier. Robert Zimmerman to Warren Zevon. A good fit for the over 50's crowd that needs a band that is worth listening to, but is not LOUD. Come hear us play on Mass Ave every Thursday from 6 to 9 outside the Phoenix Landing in Central Square, Cambridge Mass . Photos by Joe Pete Wetherby and Judith Black.
N.B.: We are a four piece band, not a folk duo. Please do not ask us for a quote if you are looking for a duo. It ain't gonna happen.

An acoustic quartet with guitars, bass, fiddle and mandolin playing a lot of the songs we enjoyed growing up with a few older classics thrown in. Some Dylan, some Southwestern-themed country stuff, some old-time folk songs - a mix really of Americana and classic folk rock. Performances are pretty casual without a lot of stage banter - we are here to play tight arrangements of songs which sound on a par or better than the originals.
Experienced pro and semi-pro members from various prior bands, including the active local band Possum (Rob and Jamie). Paul Strother is bassist for Spider John Koerner and recorded with the Chicken Chokers on Rounder Records. Bob Metzger discography can be found through any search engine.
Stage requirements are (4) line outs and (4) vocals . We don't normally use on-stage amps except for the bass. We can provide sound for smaller venues.
