The Lucky Lizzy Band formed over 6 years ago. My keyboard player, Terry Ferguson, played with Dr. Mambo's Combo, Bonnie Raitt, The White Sidewalls and drums for the Isaac Hayes Band. My bass player played with Chuck Berry, Kitty Wells, Albert Collins and more. My drummer is one of the top drummers in the Twin Cities area and my guitar player has played with several metro bands in the past 40+ years. I studied opera when I was in my 20's and went to New York to meet with my teachers instructors. I chose a different avenue and raised a family, all the while, singing for various private events. 18 1/2 years ago, after going through breast cancer, I re-opened the door to my music dreams, joining a band and then another...leading me to start the Lucky Lizzy Band and Lucky Lizzy Trio. The idea was to have a more rock and blues 5 piece band and a more jazzy blues trio. We have played in Naples Florida, in Vegas at a private event, a plethora of venues in Minneapolis and St Paul and we have been described as a soulful, funky band. A great description. We have also volunteered our time at Veteran's events and homes throughout the state of Minnesota as well as fundraisers for breast cancer. It has been an adventure and very fulfilling.

Typically, we love having lighting and sound systems, but can also provide our own. Staging is drummer in the back, keys on stage left as well as guitar and bass on the right. I am in the middle.
