Overview

We are San Francisco's premiere all-female a cappella group, and we've been performing all over the Bay Area since 2004. With over 100 songs in our repertoire spanning a variety of genres and 20 years of harmonizing together, our camraderie shows in every performance. It's possible you've seen us singing on at SFO, your office party, your cousin's wedding, in your local coffee shop or wine bar, or maybe, you know, in your friend's living room.

Fantastic and Engaging

I have had the pleasure of attending several performances by The Loosies, an all-women's a cappella group that specializes in pop songs, and I was absolutely blown away! From the moment they took the stage, their energy and passion were palpable.

The group's vocal harmonies were nothing short of spectacular. Each member brought their unique voice to the ensemble, creating a rich and dynamic sound that filled the room. Their renditions of popular hits were both fresh and nostalgic, breathing new life into songs we all know and love.

One of the highlights of the evening was their performance of Bad Guy by Billie Eilish The arrangement was innovative and showcased their incredible vocal range and control. It was clear that a lot of thought and creativity went into each song choice and arrangement.

What truly set The Loosies apart was their stage presence. Their camaraderie and joy in performing together were infectious, making the audience feel like part of the experience.

If you're a fan of a cappella music or just looking for a fun and uplifting night out, I highly recommend catching one of their performances. Their talent, creativity, and enthusiasm make for an unforgettable show. Five stars!

Stellar holiday show

I caught The Loose Interpretations at their holiday concert at The Lost Church where they performed some holiday classics and some newer tunes. They are awesome group of singers and their vibe is infectious! I’d like to give a special shout out to their remixed version of “The Twelve Days of Christmas” and “Bad Guy.”

The best!

Absolutely love The Loose Interpretations! I went to one of their concerts for my first time this past November and it was a great night and super fun show. So much talent! You can tell every performer loves what they get to do and they had such great chemistry as a group making it a blast to watch. If you are looking for something to take an upcoming event to the next level - I would have no hesitation booking them.

What to expect

We are a group of 12 women who have been performing together in our current lineup since 2019, when our newest member joined. Many of us have been part of the group for much longer—some even dating back to the original Loose Interpretations formation in 2004—which shines through in our on-stage chemistry. While we typically perform as a full group, we’re also available for smaller ensemble gigs. Our repertoire features a cappella covers and mashups of pop favorites, spanning artists like Taylor Swift, Prince, Miley Cyrus, Dolly Parton, and U2. We're also open to learning a commissioned piece with enough notice. Wherever we perform, we bring vibrant energy and unforgettable fun!
