The Kimberlites are a 5 piece Celtic/Cajun Rockin Roots & Blues band, passionately Canadian with musical influences from across the world amalgamating in a blend of sound and music that echoes the sounds of groups like Great Big Sea, Barenaked Ladies, The Mavericks and Buckwheat Zydeco.
High energy harmony vocals powered by electric guitar drums, percussion, accordion and slippery fretless bass; The Kimberlites have been engaging audiences and heating up the dance floors across western Canada regularly playing clubs, casinos, corporate events, festivals and fairs.
The Kimberlites have released 2 CD's, with new releases currently in the works, and have received airplay on local, regional and national radio.
