The Jazz Bastards play 1950s jazz peppered with vaudeville turns and slapstick. Styled like a Vegas Rat Pack group they offer a theatrical show with bebop grooves, ballads and samba. Instruments: Guitar, drums, keyboard, clarinet and spoons. Four vocalists offer versatility. Great for cocktail parties, holiday parties etc.
"Perez, a great guitar player, balances early jazz influences like Django Reinhardt with hard bop, samba, and bossa nova; Their originals are mixed with such standards as “Pennies from Heaven”, “I Get a Kick Out of You”, and “That Old Black Magic” but with the occasional tap dance, fights between the lead singers, there’s nothing standard about them."
