The Hallions

The Hallions, a high energy Celtic Rock group, have been performing since 2016. The lively sound of the fiddle combined with passionate rugged vocals gives The Hallions their unique Celtic Canadian sound. The Hallions core trio sound is often compared to a Canadian version of the Pogues, mixed with a rich east coast sound such as Great Big Sea. Major music influences also included The Mahones, Dropkick Murphy’s and Flogging Molly.

After combining booming drums and bass guitar to the mix, the band was able to obtain a unique and energetic sound. Although the fast paced music attracts an energetic audience, the melodic sound of the fiddle makes The Hallions a perfect blend of traditional and modern “Celtic Rock” music. The Hallions are performing their original and traditional songs emerging from Glengarry, Ontario
