Being heavily involved in music since he was just a toddler, Dakari A. Augustus-High has made a life of it and is changing the world one beat at a time. Dakari, a.k.a “Rudy”, has played the drums since the young age of just two years old. He was born in serene Aurora, Colorado, but now resides in the bustling city of Atlanta, Georgia. He is currently a graduating Mass Communications senior at Albany State University and makes time to focus on his music performing career. This God-gifted young man is currently the drummer for the #1 Billboard hit artist, ShonLock, but has shared the stage with so many other artists as well including: Toby Mac, Group 1 Crew, Big Daddy Weave, Kim Burrell, Rapture Ruckus, Mali Music, Flame, Lecrae, Pro, The Afters, Kj-52, George Moss, Tenth Avenue North, Hyland, Casting Crowns, Tye Tribbett, Hawk Nelson, Remedy Drive, Owl City, Skillet, and many more. Rudy has also traveled and toured all over the U.S. performing at churches, barns, festivals, arenas, amphitheaters, and all kinds of venues, including overseas. With the experience of studying music and being an amateur producer and arranger, Rudy’s skills and experiences are causing quite a buzz.
