I’m a solo acoustic singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer endorsed by Takamine Guitars, L.R. Baggs, and Schlagwerk Percussion. With over 30 years of live performance experience, I’ve toured extensively throughout the US, UK, and Europe, and have played more than 2,000 corporate events, private parties, and weddings.

December 11, 2024A beautiful voice that is easy to work with
Katie Marie played at our wedding during the cocktail hour and reception. She had exactly the style and voice we were looking for and is also a real musician (she recorded at Abbey Road this year!) and not just a “wedding musician.”
She charged a very reasonable amount to learn a new song for our first dance and also was super nice learned a specific arrangement of it on only a few days’ notice. We had her move verses and the chorus around and even without practicing with her, it was exactly what we wanted and our first dance went off without a hitch.
I would definitely recommend hiring her for your event — she won’t let you down!

What to expect
I have a diverse song list covering popular music in all genres from the 60s to present day. I'm very happy to learn specific songs you'd like to hear at your event and if needed can also provide mellow instrumental music.
While performing I select songs that I feel are appropriate for my audience and I'm always very conscious of my overall volume, making sure I am not preventing people from talking to each other while I am playing. I'm extremely easy to work with and want your event to run as smoothly as possible.

Influences and inspiration
My parents aren't musicians but they are the most musical people I've ever met. They had records playing constantly when I was growing up, so I heard a lot of James Taylor, Carol King, Mamas and Papas and The Beatles. In my youth I was heavily into Sheryl Crow, Alanis, Paula Cole and Sophie B.Hawkins and I'm so lucky and grateful to now be Sophie B's drummer. These days I'm open to pretty much anything. I love listening to all kinds of music and really appreciate someone introducing me to something new.

I will bring all my own equipment, I only need a power outlet to be available to me close to the area where I will be performing.
