Elder's MusicWorks
Overview
Specializing in piano and organ; guitar, lute, mandolin and singing. I'm available for solo work at weddings, fundraisers and special events. For full party mode, I play with Dionysius Oliver's Privateers (old time to modern takes on hymns, contra dances, polkas, and bluegrass), High Roaders (traditional Celtic & popular Irish sing-alongs) and Dwight Wilson and Classic City Soul (R&B dance favorites).
I've played at wineries, art houses, churches, Christmas and graduation parties; bars, clubs, and music venues throughout the Southeast.
I attended the Berklee College of Music, studied composition and piano performance in North East Georgia and currently serve as a Minister of Music.

April 12, 2026Professional and fun!
We had the honor of having them as our live entertainment for our St Patrick’s day event at our senior living community. Jason was exceptionally professional during booking and performance. They knew how to read the crowd and came fully equipped and well prepared. We will certainly be booking Jason and his group in the future!

March 8, 2026A Joyful Morning with The High Roaders
We had the absolute joy of welcoming part of The High Roaders to Honea Path Presbyterian Church this morning, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
From the very beginning, they were an absolute delight to work with. Communication was easy, they were incredibly kind and accommodating, and they brought such a gracious and joyful spirit with them. You could immediately tell they genuinely love what they do and care deeply about the communities they serve.
The music was simply phenomenal. Their musicianship is truly something special. The blend of Celtic and folk sounds was beautiful, lively, and deeply moving all at the same time. They brought a fresh energy to familiar hymns and created a worship atmosphere that felt both reverent and joyful. It’s rare to encounter musicians with this level of talent who are also so humble, warm, and engaging.
Our congregation absolutely loved them. Many people commented afterward that it was one of the most meaningful and uplifting musical experiences we’ve had in worship.
If you ever have the opportunity to host The High Roaders, do not hesitate. They are professional, friendly, extraordinarily talented, and a genuine blessing.
We are so grateful they shared their gifts with us and hope to welcome them back again soon.

Wow, Amanda! That was above and beyond all reviews. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving us a chance to come and play; and they all said they had a wonderful time, felt very welcomed, and would love to play again. It was meaningful to them in their own ways outside of performing.
I appreciate your kind and fulsome words. I pray that next time it shall be four of us.
Blessing,
Jason Elder
