The Godmother, is a vocalist and bandleader based on Florida’s Space Coast. Her group, The Godmother and Her Hitmen, is a rotating collective of top-tier jazz musicians tailored to each performance. From intimate vocal-piano duos to full 20-piece jazz ensembles, Lauren builds the perfect lineup for the room. The group draws from swing, soul, standards, and modern jazz, always anchored by her warm tone and clear artistic direction. Lauren’s approach is rooted in collaboration—she brings in the “right players for the job” and lets their strengths shine. Her background in arranging and vocal performance gives the band a unique blend of polish and spontaneity. No two sets are the same.

Lauren, aka The Godmother, is my favorite female singer here in Brevard County FL. She's a total pro and dazzling talent, I honestly don't even know where to start. Yes she's an amazing singer, but she's so much more. She is a rare talent as an MC and personality/ impresario with her smile, sense of humor and contagious laugh. She brings a whole other dimension to an event with her uplifting energy. There is no one else quite like her that I've ever worked with.
