Over the years, we have hired many musicians for many events, and amongst all of them, Lawrence stands out in particular as a world class musical talent, for his total professionalism on and off the bandstand, and if all of that isn’t enough for you, his “bad” jokes were the icing on the cake that had us in stitches all night long! This guy is just on a whole other level. We have already booked Lawrence again for our holiday party in December, and there will certainly be more coming beyond that. GRAB HIM!

Lawrence rocked! We had about 75 guests for my wife’s birthday party. I made a 6 ft by 8 ft stage for the event, and we left room for a dance floor in front. Everyone had a great time with lots of dancing and many of my friends asked me , were did you get this guy? I got several of his cards and passed them out to those asked. All our friends were impressed and many times last night I heard “man, this guy can play! I have played guitar for 50 years and know music so when he was done and breaking down everything i talked with him about his sound and various pedals and such….thanks for sharing some time with me Lawrence, we will book again.

What to expect
You can expect me to show up early for events to have plenty of time to load in and set up and solve any unforeseen issues that occasionally occur. I will prepare in advance and play the music you request of me to very best of my abilities. I'm always striving for the most appropriate volume level at any moment in time during an event (louder or softer). A <<profesional>> live sax at an event can make huge positive difference and make some unforgettable memories for folks. About
I've always been a musician. I was a public school band director and busy freelance musician for the first part of my adult life in NYC metropolitan area before moving to Costa Rica in 2019. I was in Costa Rica for four years all through Covid. In 2023 I moved back to the USA. Playing with backing tracks is something I started doing in Costa Rica at beachside resorts and clubs. At this point I am an extremely polished, high level performer with my custom tracks, with absolute confidence in any and all situations. I am having success getting this new business off the ground with my backing tracks. I have now teamed up with an exceptional local singer, Ms. Irina Freckle who is featured along side me in the first video. Please inquire about hiring us as a dynamic musical duo! Additional booking notes
I require at minimum 36' sq. ft area to set up,(6' x 6'). A safe and shaded area (for daytime) out of reach of sun, rain and most wind. Sufficiently clean and flat floor space with no mud or dirt. If the job is at night and the weather is clear, I can often set up outside without a cover, but there should be a plan B for poor weather conditions as I will need to protect my gear. If the event is out in the woods or a remote location away from AC power supply available, I have the capability to bring my own battery power pack, but I need to know this in advance.

From Led Zeppelin to Frank Sinatra to Stan Getz, Ellington and John Coltrane to Freddie Mercury to Prince to Ella Fitzgerald to Aretha Franklin to Louis Prima to Paul McCartney to Stevie Wonder to Maria Callas to Joni Mitchell to Amy Winehouse and on and on. I was not blessed with a great singing voice, so I sing through my saxophone. Playing great melodies on saxophone opens a lot of creative possibilities for personal expression and beauty.
