The Garlanded Flute provides solo flute music for weddings, cocktail hours, funerals and memorial services, open houses, and other events. I can also play with your pianist, organist, harpist, vocalist, or other instrumentalist or group! I am available to play with other musicians in both small and large groups, either established or ad-hoc. Styles include classical, liturgical, and pop music. Not sure what you need? If you are interested in a solo musician, services include assisting with playlists/set lists in styles including classical, jazz, and pop, and assisting with selection of liturgical music for religious events. I am also happy to assist with recruiting additional wind or string musicians for your event where possible. Flute, alto flute, and piccolo are available. The Garlanded Flute is happy to coordinate and play with other musicians, vocalists, or music directors to accommodate your needs!
If you are looking for a musician to join or sub into an ensemble, or for a recurring series of events, please reach out to discuss details. I am an experienced ensemble player and can work with anything from duos to symphony orchestras.
Melina is an experienced solo and ensemble flutist and has played with bands, orchestras, and at churches in Massachusetts and across New England and the mid-Atlantic states. She currently lives in Worcester with her husband and two cats.
