We pride ourselves on playing the most popular, upbeat cover songs with a focus on great harmonies and rock solid rhythms. We have carefully selected songs that will keep people dancing and singing all night long.

The Excellent Drivers live up to their name! This is the second year in a row we've had them back for our Oktoberfest festival and this time was even more awesome; literally no one was in their seats by the end of the night, everyone gathered around to dance. Dave was super accommodating with all of our requests as well! They're AMAZING, definitely recommend!

June 22, 2017Amazing choice for our wedding band
These guys played an AMAZING show for our wedding. We cannot recommend them more highly to anyone looking for a wedding band that will get people dancing and keep people on the dance floor. The band was extremely responsive the many months proceeding the reception and flexible with song choices, setup, etc. They do a really good job of playing a mix of older and newer stuff, rock and pop, but it's all extremely well done. Clearly really talented musicians and singers that put a lot of time into their covers. These guys were easily the most complimented piece of the whole reception and the dance floor was completely full the entire night. Picking them as our band was the best choice we made bar none in all the wedding planning.

When the Excellent Drivers played for my 50th birthday this year, they made the party! With popular songs spanning the decades, they had all of the guests on the dance floor. From the spontaneously forming conga line for "This is How We Do It," to the impromptu dance contest for "Uptown Funk," to the slow and sensual grooving during "Let's Get It On," there was something for everyone. Thanks, Excellent Drivers, for making my party one to remember! Hope you will still be around to help me celebrate my 60th in ten years!

How can I describe The Excellent Drivers anything short of EXCELLENT?! The show that they put on was both engaging and entertaining! It was one of the best we had put on all year. I would definitely recommend them for private parties, weddings, and large events!

What to expect
The Excellent Drivers conduct themselves professionally and will arrive early enough to ensure there will be no technical issues that they cannot solve before the start time. When needed, the band will provide full PA and lighting as well as a sound engineer. For smaller budgets, the band can control the PA mix from the stage as well.
About
The Excellent Drivers were formed in late 2013 and are based in Fairfax, Virginia. The band members include a rock solid rhythm section including Scott Lopez on drums and Dave Farzan (bass/backing vocals). On guitar, they feature Allen Zechini who also provides backing vocals. And finally, on lead vocals and keys, Kelly Snow. Kelly has appeared and sung in the movie, Pitch Perfect as well as an episode of the hit TV show, the Office.
The group prides itself on providing an exciting mixture of high energy music ranging from the 70's to today covering modern artists such as Andy Grammer, Ed Sheeran, Paramore and OneRepublic as well as classic rock artists including Aerosmith, Rick Springfield and Cheap Trick.
