Husband's 40th

Group did exactly as we discussed- jazz standards and were even able to pull off happy birthday too. My husband enjoyed hearing them throughout the evening of his birthday and said they did very well (he has played bassoon for over twenty years/ so he knows).

What to expect

The Envoy Quintet performs a variety of jazz ranging from swing and bebop to modern jazz. The client may specify which style he/she prefers for the event, or a general feel they want for audiences members or event attendees.

About

The Envoy Quintet is led by saxophonist Spencer Edgers, who is currently pursuing a degree in jazz performance at the Boyer College of Music and Dance at Temple University. The rest of the band includes trumpet, piano, bass, and drums. The group is looking for performance opportunities in Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Edmonds, and any other surrounding areas. It is preferable for the venue to have a piano, but it is not absolutely necessary.
