The Donvonte McCoy Quintet is a premier Jazz ensemble in Washington D.C. As the house band for D.C.'s Eighteenth Street Lounge, this band really knows how to set the right mood. Donvonte McCoy is one of today's finest Jazz trumpeters. He has performed with artists such as Lionel Hampton, Jason Moran, Aretha Franklin, El Debarge, Fantasia, Eric Wyatt, Curtis Fuller, Larry Ridley and many more! His debut CD Third Floor was well received by Washington D.C. City Paper as one of the best of the year. Donvonte continues to lead one of Washington D.C.’S longest running engagements. He performs every weekend at one of the city’s most popular clubs, Eighteenth Street Lounge.
