What to Expect
Our tour begins in front of Gaetanos Restaurant. Gaetanos was owned by the mafia family here in Denver from 1944 to 2005. The tour takes an hour and a half as we drive through North Denver"s Little Italy. We will see 22 sights including haunts, homes and crime scenes of Denver's very own Mafia figures. The tour ends with a lunch or dinner at Gaetano's Restaurant. After lunch or dinner we tour the basement of Gaetanos which was used as the head quarters and gambling den of the crime family, and also bugged by the FBI in 1980. You have to take the tour to find out what celebrities visited the restaurant.
I've been an organized crime buff since I was a kid. I started studying the mafia here in the United States in 1985 when I was in college. I found out about the Denver Mafia Family in my twenties driving a limousine part-time. The group I picked up in front of Gaetano's restaurant was the Denver Mafia.
I have stories from both sides of the law, I will share them with you!!
