My name is Matthew Redlaw and I am a Deception Artist. Magic infers powers of the occult, which I have none of. Instead, I use your five senses against you in order to make it appear as if I have a sixth to create suspension of disbelief. That is the moment where you forget that what you are seeing is simply an illusion and regress to the time in your life where you believed in the impossible. Magicians perform tricks. I am not going to trick you. Everything that I do is based in fabrications and falsehoods. I am going to bold face lie to you! My performances are sarcastic and comedic and get the entire audience involved; leaving your group with a sense of wonder and amazement.
Very professional, show was amazing and the kids and adults really enjoy him!!!
We hosted a ticketed Valentine's Day Supper Club event with burlesque, magic and a four course dinner. The Deceptionist flawlessly held a room of 200 completely captivated!!! I can't say enough positive things. Regardless of the size of your event, hold no doubt that The Deceptionist is WHO YOU WANT!
