Hello, thanks for stopping by. I’m Dr. Dave, an expert in close up and parlor magic and my number one priority is that you and your guests have a great time.
I can perform in a casual walk around setting or in front of your guests for a more formal show.
My children’s and family shows have lots of interaction and are designed to engage guests of all ages.
When not amazing guests at private events you may find me doing table side magic at the Chicago Magic Lounge.

We booked Dr. Dave for my sister and I's 26th birthday. We had a small group over and Dave did a fantastic job getting the group warmed up and excited for his act! Booking with him was easy, contact with Dave was clear, and he showed up right on time! This was truly a fantastic experience and everyone had so much fun watching all of his tricks - our minds are still blown! February 18, 2025A Magical Bachelorette
Dr. Dave performed walk around magic at my best friends bachelorette for about 25 of us. He was a HIT! He was the perfect addition to the party and I cannot recommend him enough. He is truly a magician and he is also the nicest person to add to a fun group! He blew our minds with his finale trick and we are all still talking about how good of an idea it was to have him come! Cannot recommend enough!

Dr. Dave was great with everyone. The event started with very few people that he kept entertained. As more started arriving he easily transitioned into jumping around to keep different groups engaged. The event flowed easily with everyone congregating around him then breaking up into smaller groups he would interact with. Dr. Dave was incredibly professional and his magic had everyone screaming with delight. He was funny and had everyone amazed by his skills. Next time I need a magician for an event he will be my first call!
