San Diego-based pianist and composer Danny Green has garnered a reputation in the jazz community as an emerging artist whose music sounds simultaneously seasoned and fresh. Called “a musical mind of rare sensitivity and rigor” by CD Hotlist, Green is quickly scaling the ranks of new jazz talent with his brilliant blend of jazz, Brazilian, Latin, and classical elements. All About Jazz described Green’s music “as engaging and intriguing as if penned by a veteran icon of jazz.”

Along with his trio, Green has performed at notable venues, series, and festivals across the county, including the San Jose Jazz Summer Fest, Telluride Jazz Festival, Huntington Arts Summer Fest (Huntington, NY), TEDxSan Diego at Copley Symphony Hall, Rockwood Music Hall (New York City), and The Blue Whale (Los Angeles).

Green has released numerous critically albums, earning world-wide radio play and praise from top publications including DownBeat Magazine, Jazziz, San Diego Union Tribune, the Boston Globe, and Public Radio International. In addition, Green has won two San Diego Music awards for Best Jazz Album and an additional award for Best Jazz Artist.

Green is available for private events and offers a variety of configurations, ranging from solo piano, to large ensembles.
