The Band
Betsy Green (fiddle, vocals) – Raised in a musical family in rural Massachusetts, Betsy brings melodic fire and finesse to the band. She performs with her siblings in The Green Sisters and with the Hazel Project, and teaches with the New England Fiddle Ensemble, inspiring the next generation of musicians. She is also a well regarded artist.
Dave Shaw (banjo, mandolin, vocals) – A veteran of the New England bluegrass scene, Dave is known for his work with the Bear Bridge Band, Newfound Grass, The Roll On Buddies, and the Seth Sawyer Band. His encyclopedic knowledge of American roots music and expressive playing make him a cornerstone of the band’s sound.
Tim FitzPatrick (guitar, vocals) – With a voice that commands attention and a rhythm guitar style that anchors the group, Tim brings years of experience from bluegrass festivals, folk clubs, and collaborations with artists like the Hi-Tone Ramblers, Cow Catchers, and the Roll On Buddies.
Together, The Bottom Dollars deliver a sound that’s both timeless and immediate—rich in harmony, steeped in tradition, and driven by a shared love of the music.
