Since then, the group has performed a variety of works from jazz to baroque throughout the Austin area. Past performances include the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, the Texas Collegiate Women's Chorus Festival and the Central Presbyterian Church concert series. The Big Brass Theory is coached by Charles Villarrubia, senior lecturer in brass chamber music at UT and tubist for Rhythm and Brass.
