Nebraska's longest running comedy training center and performance venue, located in the heart of downtown Omaha. Founder Dylan Rohde is an alumni of Upright Citizens Brigade, and iO (improv Olympic,) taught by the best in the nation, and has taught improv to thousands in Omaha and worldwide.

The Backline has been growing Omaha's comedy scene for over 15 years now and we're located in the heart of downtown. We train local comedians in improv, standup, musical, sketch, and more, with public shows and classes every week.
Backline founder Dylan Rohde has taught around the world from Canada to Taiwan, and led workshops for over 20 local businesses in topics from storytelling to some good fun team building. We can help you with whatever your comedy needs are from a standup or emcee for your event, to a fully interactive improv show. We can also travel or host shows here.
We are the home for local comedy and can help you with whatever talent you need, and also we have access to national talent if your budget is over a couple thousand.
