Big Canvas is a nonprofit organization and improv troupe with the mission of Comedy for Everyone. You've seen 'Whose Line is it Anyway' on TV. Big Canvas offers improv shows and workshops for large and small groups alike, using humor that anyone age 6 to 106 can enjoy.
Big Canvas was absolutely fabulous. They performed during an awards banquet and had our entire audience laughing. We'd love to have them again.

The group was great. We enjoyed visiting with them over supper and learning more about them and the whole group. The mayor was in one of their skits, every one had a good time.

Big Canvas is a non profit organization that believes in comedy for everyone. As Omaha’s family favorite improv comedy group and school, our work features a variety of improv comedy where everything is made up on the spot.
Big Canvas is Doug Rothgeb, Eric Green, Tracie Mauk, Heather Jones, and Lindsey Theis. Each bring a variety of talents and a combined passion for performing. They met in Omaha and together they found a like minded energy every time they hit the stage. Together, the group brings decades of improv, stand up, sketch comedy, and theatre experience to the stage. Needless to say, it’s never a dull moment.
Big Canvas offers improv training workshops in addition to shows. Improv training can help with team building and public speaking. Improv is not just for actors, it provides the tools for anyone interested in learning how to think quick on their feet, be more creative, work more flexibly, and listen with intent.
Additional Booking Notes
Big Canvas has performed on stages of all sizes from large staged events to small art galleries. To date, we work with the location on microphones and sound. We do not bring our own sound staging/lighting/sound.
