Andrea Scow is a dynamic singer/songwriter/instrumentalist residing in the Hudson Valley of New York. Through her life long passion for performance she has cultivated a style that is all her own yet classic and timeless. A blend of many genres accompanied by soulful and jazzy vocals. She and her producer/sound engineer husband, have invested their resources into a home studio in Upstate New York. There, they’ve had the pleasure of working with some very talented musicians and business people. Starting The Andrea Scow Band in February 2017, several talented and enduring musicians have joined Andrea in creating and performing a dynamic and intriguing mix of her favorite genres: Jazz, Soulful R&B, and Blues with a touch of Reggae. Collaborating with these musicians has allowed Andrea to work in some of the most prestigious restaurants and clubs in the Capital District of New York, as well as American Cruise Lines, as regular entertainment. In February 2017 she released "Intrinsic", a solo, Electronic, Soulful album that she wrote and she and her husband co-produced. Immediately following the release, she started up The Andrea Scow Band and, one year- to the date- later, the band released the timeless album "Feels Like Falling" in the Cool Jazz and Soulful R&B genres. They continue to make progress in the live entertainment scene in The Capital District and Hudson Valley of New York, displaying tenacity and grace in each performance. They provide a main focus on wedding and corporate entertainment and have especially enjoyed providing ambience for these special occasions.
