Teenatown

I typically play with a small and simple set up for a singing guitarist. I start by loading in gear on my own. I play my events with a small BOSS cube public address system with simple effects such as reverb and delay. I also use a Shure SM58 vocal microphone, and a black Epiphone Les Paul electric guitar. The public address system is what connects my microphone and electric guitar. I arrive early and take usually take about 30-40 minutes to set up and sound check the instruments as well as the simple effects I use on them. Then, I play the music, including any of the material you have requested of me. Particularly, I cover songs anywhere from modern hits of the 2020s and as from far back as the 1950s. Some examples include Hot N’ Cold by Katy Perry, “Levitating” by Dua Lipa, “Don’t Start Now” by Dua Lipa, “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz, “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac, “As It Was” By Harry Styles, “Livin’ On A Prayer” by Bon Jovi, “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey, “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis Presley, and more. I typically like to take a 15 intermission halfway through the duration of my play time; however, I am able to power through for the duration of the set if necessary for the event. I end the music by packing up my gear and loading it back into my vehicle.

With her vocal influences ranging from the Disco Queen Donna Summer to the pop-punk stylings of Paramore’s Hayley Williams, teenatown brings audible diversity to the table like no other. 
 Teenatown was just 18 when she started playing around with GarageBand loops. Always one to experiment with sounds and styles, she soon realized her infatuation with upbeat moving bass-lines could be something more. She dropped her first track, “Get Down,” on Soundcloud not too long after and in January 2019 released her debut, ‘Cranberry.’ Her first started to solidify her name in the music scene. So much so she was able to head west to Los Angeles where she played the infamous Viper Room on the Sunset Strip-but teenatown is no stranger to those types of venues as she has been on stage at The Well, The VNYL, Muchmore’s, and The Knitting Factory as well.

There are no particular requirements for my set up other than a small open space or area for set up and at least one electric socket for me to connect my equipment.
