I am Tasha Jay, 35 years old and residing in the DFW. I graduated from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor with a vocal performance degree in 2013. I am currently teaching vocal lessons. I can sing just about anything! Residing in Addison, Texas and looking to get my name out and get some gigs! Im avaliable for weddings, sporting events, kids partys, special events, back up bands, and willing to try anything new!

An audience would be touched by my performance as well as be able to feel what I am trying to portray with the piece. They will leave feeling as if they were the character I have sung themselves. I like to think that when I preform I leave the audience wanting more when I'm done or excited to hear what piece comes next. My performances are high energy, and fun and I always give 110%.
I am music, music is me, and I like to say my life revolves around it. I've been singing since I was about four and I knew at a young age that's what I wanted to do. Participated in choir 6th-12th grade where I then continued my musical career in college. I was professionally trained for 5 years classical, opera, jazz, spiritual and broadway with Penny Hogan along with her husband George Hogan. I studied and took lessons from Richard Estes at TCU in 2013. I now live in Central Dallas, I also taught lessons at Createvation Music School in Frisco, TX. I released my first EP on 10/03/2020 and am also recording and working on more upcoming music! In my free time I write music and enjoy singing hip hop, r&b, and songwriters. I'm responsible, reliable, motivated and determined and I promise you wont regret reserving me :)

I have to say my five years of training in school definitely had a influence on my life. I got the chance to be trained and to break down every performance I gave and know how to approach any song im presented with. School also taught me to do my research on every song I am given so I can provide my audience with a completely enjoyable experience.
