I have an extensive repertoire of well known cover songs from various genres and decades as well as originals that I have written. I enjoy playing shows as a solo artist, accompanying myself on guitar for up to several hours at a time, but I also love to play with my trio which includes piano/accordion and upright bass (and percussionist at times). Songs that I have written and recorded have won awards in the International Acoustic Music Awards and the US Songwriting Competition, and other artists have also recorded my songs. One of my originals was the title cut to a Grammy and Dove nominated album. I am a regular performer at Rock City Gardens and Opryland Hotel as well as other venues.

October 6, 2022I first heard Tarryn at Opry Land Hotel. My wife and I heard some music and stopped in to listen. She is absolutely wonderful. Her voice is soothing, her song selection is wonderful. I loved her stage appearance, she just sings her songs from the heart, there is no showboating or wild performance that some entertainers need to draw an audience because their voice isn't enough. Tarryn's voice and performance is enough for those who appreciate great talent. She gives her all when she is on stage. We didn't get to meet Tarryn for she announced she had another show across town, and we didn't want to slow her down. We wrote down her name and googled her later after our vacation was over. We were not surprised at all on what we found online. Tarryn is an awesome song writer as well as singer. We bought several of her songs. I also taught my 11-year-old grand-daughter one of her songs to sing as I accompany her on Guitar. We did find one surprise to us; she grew up in the next county from where we live now in Indiana. We look forward to seeing her perform again in the near future.

Thank you so much, James! I really appreciate your nice review and the time you took to write it. When I play a show up in Indiana, I will try to let you know! All the best to you and your family and I’m honored that you taught your daughter to sing one of my songs!
