Overview
I help believers understand deeper freedom in Christ, sharing truth with a dose of laughter. Brokenness doesn’t choose denominations. Whether we’ve been in the church 50 years or 2 weeks, we all have struggles to overcome. It’s my desire to help you overcome those struggles with true freedom in Christ.
Whether you’re a church, business, conference, corporation or college, I’d love to see how I can bring truth of Christ with a dose of laughter to your next event.
"Her heart is on fire to show others it’s never too late to restore your relationships. She’ll move you to tears and provide a few laughs along the way." - Dr. Gary Smalley - Author and Speaker

What to Expect
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to encourage and inspire thousands of women and men at various events throughout the Midwest, and a few different countries, too.
Whether you’re a church, business, conference, corporation or college, I’d love to see how I can bring truth with a dose of laughter to your next event.
As an experienced speaker, I want to provide two key things for your next event…
1. A great experience on stage —I’ve presented to audiences both large and small in a variety of different settings. Often called a “thought-provoking” communicator, I use various forms to draw in the audience, including real-life stories mixed with a dose of humor, which guarantees to keep the audience engaged.
2. A great experience off stage — Putting an event on requires a lot of behind-the-scenes work with a lot of details to manage. Meeting the needs of the speaker should be the least of your concerns. I’m easy and low maintenance, so don’t worry about me.
About
I’m Sundi Jo. Some of my friends call me SJ. I love to share truth with a dose of laughter. I inspire others to break free from self-destructive behaviors so they can learn to love themselves and experience lasting transformation. I long to see people set free from bondage. I have a story filled with gritty redemption and I look forward to taking you on more of my journey.
In 2008, weighed 330 lbs. and was short on hope with no direction of where my life was headed. But after hitting rock bottom, I turned her life around, lost 145 lbs., and committed myself to helping others find and pursue their passions and God-given dreams.
Surviving sexual abuse, rape, abandonment, fear, pride, a food and pornography addiction, and more, God has given me a testimony to share with others seeking hope, including a 145 lbs. weight loss.
In 2009, all the pain I’d been burying came bubbling up and I had two choices: I could end everything or reach out for help. After an intervention from three of my friends and one of my pastors, they drove me to a residential discipleship program, where I spent the next year allowing God to heal the deepest, broken places of my heart. It was one of the hardest, most rewarding things I’ve ever done in my life.
I learned Who I was in Christ, that God loved me with an everlasting love, that He had an amazing plan for my life, and that my past didn’t have to control my future. For the first time in my life I truly understood redemption. And everyday since then I fight to stay free. Some days I get it right. Some days I fail miserably. I long to see others delivered from Satan’s ways, just the same way I have been.
I’ve been called “a passionate, versatile, and thought-provoking communicator whose authenticity connects me with audiences in a way few people can.”
I’m the author of "Dear Dad" and "Liar Liar". My blog was recently named one of the top 100 Christian Women Blogs. I’ve been featured as a guest writer for various authors and speakers, including Mary DeMuth, Jeff Goins, and Prodigal Magazine.
Thanks for joining me on this journey to freedom in Christ. Let’s stay free together!
In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing songs, going to the movies, playing Bingo with my awesome grandma, and spending time laughing with friends. I’m a fan of flip flops, Dolly Parton, and sushi, not necessarily in that order.
Want funnier? Meet my alter-ego, Tooty Mae Woolley. You’ll never be the same.
Hailing from rural Missouri, Tooty Mae loves Jesus, Dolly Parton, and poop jokes, but the woman refuses to let go of the 90’s.
Cashier at Woolley’s Shopping Basket, the local grocery store owned by her grandpa three times removed, Tooty spends her days stocking shelves and leaving lipstick on the cheeks of regular patrons. But at night, you might find Tooty dancing to a Vanilla Ice song, teaching a Bible Study at the Independent Pentecostal First Baptist Fundamental Free Will Church of Christ, or strengthening her glutes on the thigh master.
Tooty Mae longs to bring laughter to the world, and she does just that. Don’t mind her. She can’t help herself.
