We hired 3 members of "Straight Up" for our wedding day. Because, as the bride, I was busy socializing/talking with my guests, I couldn't truly appreciate the fine job they did musically, they were on time and blended in very well. I was told by my guests that they were great and really got into their love for jazz music. Everything was perfect.

We will be having StraightUP at our winery again. The band members were all very professional, they arrived early and were ready to go by the scheduled time.
We originally wanted the band to play outside for all of the winery guests to enjoy, but the triple digit heat made us move it indoors in to our Member's club, which worked out great. The music added to the ambiance and the members enjoyed it.

studioA plays a blend of great R&B and jazz for your events. Not a rock band. We are a vocal based Instrumental group. Years of experience and positive reviews at reasonable prices. We can scale from a duo to a quartet based on your budget, size of audience. Keep live music alive San Diego!
Additional booking notes
StraightUP provides all their own equipment and only requires a comfortable and space that holds at least 4 people. Electrical outlets need to be within 20 feet of the area that we play in.
We do not require food.
We do not take long breaks between sets.
