Hey San Diego, studioA plays a blend of the great R&B and Soul new and old for your private party, fundraiser, rehearsal dinners, and corporate events. Not a classic rock group but do through some pop selections into the setlist. Years of experience in various markets across the US. Reasonable rates, professional, and responsible. July 10, 2023Rockin' it, or should I say "jazzin' it out of the park"
We hired 3 members of "Straight Up" for our wedding day. Because, as the bride, I was busy socializing/talking with my guests, I couldn't truly appreciate the fine job they did musically, they were on time and blended in very well. I was told by my guests that they were great and really got into their love for jazz music. Everything was perfect.

September 6, 2022StraightUP is a great fit for our Winery!
We will be having StraightUP at our winery again. The band members were all very professional, they arrived early and were ready to go by the scheduled time.
We originally wanted the band to play outside for all of the winery guests to enjoy, but the triple digit heat made us move it indoors in to our Member's club, which worked out great. The music added to the ambiance and the members enjoyed it.

Additional booking notes
StraightUP provides all their own equipment and only requires a comfortable and space that holds at least 4 people. Electrical outlets need to be within 20 feet of the area that we play in.
We do not require food.
We do not take long breaks between sets.
