Stu Ryan O'Brien will appear as a quartet with Guitar, Mandolin/Banjo, Accordion and Percussion or as a single with Stu singing and playing the guitar.

Stu Ryan O'Brien will perform as a soloist with guitar or as a quartet. Stu Ryan O'Brien can play as a traditional Irish band singing Irish folk and pub tunes or can be interactive with jokes, laughs and sing along. Stu Ryan O'Brien and his bandmates come from assorted musical backgrounds ranging from classic musical training to bluegrass, bagpipes, marching bands and polka. Stu has decades of experience leading and facilitating events for groups small and large in both entertainment and business settings. Stu's ability to connect with the audience through a contagious smile and easy going humor sets this band apart. The Stu Ryan O'Brien focus is on playing fun music and having a good time with the audience.

The Stu Ryan O'Brien songbook has almost 100 titles. The most common and best known Irish tunes played by Stu Ryan O'Brien include: "Whisky in the Jar", "Molly Malone", "The Wild Rover", "Finnegan's Wake"," A Nation Once Again", "The Fields of Athenry", "The Irish Rover"," The Parting Glass", "The Ferryman" and many more. Of course we offer the Irish American traditionals like "When Irish Eyes are Smiling", "My Wild Irish Rose", "Danny Boy" and "Too Ra Loo". Novelty songs are offered like " The Scotsman", Seven Drunken Nights" and " Seven Old ladies Locked in the Lavatory". Fun sing along tunes like "Those Were the Days" and an Irish version of "Piano Man". We offer a set we call Shamrock-Tober fest that features our accordionist and a popular collection of German polkas. The German bier toast "Ein Prosit" is always a hit (Zickey, Zocky, Zickey, Zocky. Hoy, Hoy, Hoy!). Although we are billed as Irish Pub and Folk songs we can play other music as needed.
