Sharry Lovan-Willow Springs MO
Been playing music and singing since I was a child. Grew up in a large family . My Father played all kinds of instruments..was a preacher, logger and a family man! My mother could play many instruments and sing...all the brothers and sisters played and sang also.
I got married in 1988 to a truckdriver Jack Lovan. He has supported me and my music all along the way!
We have two children Monica and Curtis great kids!
Ive been in this band since 2011. I love singing and using my talent that God gave me..I am a bass player,
I play acoustic bass, electric, and upright bass. Love them all!
My love of music has been with me all my life my first love...is singing Gospel music for my Lord!
I could not do this without his help for sure! He is my all!
Alan Strickland-West Plains Mo
Alan has played music all his life from a very young age.,,,Formerly in the band called First Impression
Currently with Stringed Union....we are happy
Alan has won many awards in his career with his banjo! Nashville knows him!
Married to a beautiful wife Evanel for over 20 years now -she is a great supporter of his (link hidden)an's daughter Jennifer has written many songs..one of which is called Missouri Moon..won an award on Rhonda Vincents album! Pretty exciting and a dad super proud of his daughter!
Alan is a great singer and musician and even better friend...
Gene Collins-
Gene Collins is from Ozark Mo and has been playing music since around 8 years old...
He was formerly in the band called The Drifters who were known for their many awards from SPMGA in Nashville Tn..He is currently in a band called..The Collins Brothers..and also in Stringed Union!
He is a busy musician for sure...Gene has won many awards for his rythem guitar playing on his beautiful Martin Guitar....what a sound that instrument has! He sings lead and vocals on the songs..and harmoinizes wonderfully! A great friend to the band and our family.
Rory Ezell from Grassy Mo is the mandolin player in the band . He grew up in a family band called "The Ezells" traveling all over the country playin and singing for many years. Rory is super talented on the mandolin and on many other instruments as well! We appreciate good talent and feel we have the best!

Stringed Union was formed in 2011 and still going strong! We are a bluegrass group who plays...Bluegrass, bluegrass Gospel, folk music ...we have many originals and also do a lot of crowd favorites! We would be happy to come perform for your event,your church...small of large..thanks and God Bless
