We are experienced musicians who love to arrive on time, provide good sound equipment, and entertain the listeners at events ranging from a backyard barbecue to a full stage. Our tastes are eclectic and include bluegrass standards, country, pop, rock and roll, instrumentals, all played on a range of acoustic instruments. Or for bigger venues we can bring our drummer and electric guitar.
Stormgrass features Jeff Peterson on guitar & vocals. Jeff's long musical career started in Montana and Arizona as singer Songwriter with his lively band "The Road Agents". (You can stream them on Spotify). Jeff's musical style took a turn towards American roots music after connecting with neighbor and doghouse bass player, Shawna Lockhart. They soon added Cabot Metz on banjo, lap steel, and guitar. Cabot's Berklee music program fuels his interesting arrangements and overall musicality.
Stormgrass is often joined by Danny Garcia (fiddle) and Rich Stoltzfus (guitar/mando) to bring tight harmony and a wide ranging Americana sound.
We provide quality sound equipment and some stage lighting if that is needed.
