Overview
This CT-based bluegrass trio specializes in Traditional Bluegrass and Country music. They are comprised of talented Connecticut bluegrass/country music veterans Dennis Sheridan on guitar, mandolin and vocals, Lou Alexander on banjo, guitar, dobro and vocals and Patricia McDonald on bass and vocals.
In addition to the fine music they play they engage the audience with humorous stories and songs.
Still Pickin' has entertained in many venues throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York. House parties, pig roasts, fairs, festivals....we do it all!

What to expect
We are a traditional bluegrass band with some classic country thrown in. We are definitely a listening band not a dance band. We do not use drums. All of our songs are nicely arranged and well rehearsed with pleasant vocal harmonies.

Still Pickin' offers up a wide array of acoustic music to satisfy listeners of all ages. Among its repertoire you will hear traditional and contemporary bluegrass, some award-winning originals as well as some classic country and even a touch of folk music. We provide our own sound equipment. If your event is outdoors, we have extension cords to accommodate the distance from your source to our PA.
