In a worship setting:
I am respectful of my leadership but am capable of leading people in worship and ready to go. Flow and spontaneity are important to me, but I am able to do a more structured set when needed.
As far as genre, I am similar to Bethel in Redding CA, Hillsong, and Elevation worship, with some hints of gospel here and there.
I do my best to be congregationally friendly and will work with the songs your people know. My specialty is leading for longer worship times and altar ministry times. Any set length from 15 or less minutes to 2+ hours is not a difficulty for me. My deepest desire in worship is to hear the Lord's voice and make pathways for people to really encounter Him.

In a wedding setting:
I will be prepared and willing to do whatever is needed, as far as my capabilities and convictions allow.
Some notes, however: Classical music is not my best strength, and sight-reading sheet music isn't the easiest for me, but I can play very well by ear and can learn most songs within 2 days. So with classical pieces, if you want every note to be exact, book me as early as possible and I can make that work. If you're not as particular, you can book me very late in the game and I can make something work.
My goal is to be flexible to what your wishes for the wedding are and to make your day more special by being there.

I love the Lord and lifting Him up in every area of my life, including music. I pursue excellence in music, and it's my aim to honor Him with the gifts He gave me. I am passionate about the truth being spoken into people in and out of the church, and love writing songs with which we can express our love to God.

Some history:
I grew up doing music in church and have continued to grow as I get older.
In 2011 I began attending North Central University in MPLS, MN and have been pursing a bachelor's degree in Worship Arts: Music Pastor ever since. I graduate in May 2016. I lead worship at school and have participated in multiple groups in my time at NCU, including One Accord, the premier touring group for the school. I have participated in recording 4 albums with the school, including my One Accord team's album Crown You King, and the most recent Worship Live album (Hearts on Fire).

During my time at NCU I have written multiple songs and have since recorded a studio worship album, including the song "Love of God" which was selected for Worship Leader Magazine's Song Discovery CD (July/August 2015).

I've been planted at and involved in my current church, Bethel's Rock in Richfield, MN since September of 2012. I lead worship there often and served as the interim worship pastor for 11 months (Sept 2014-August 2015).

I generally bring my own keyboard with me for worship and wedding gigs, however if I am flying I would ask you to provide that. I have certain keyboards/pianos I prefer to use (contact me for that list).

I prefer to work with my own musicians and sound tech, but we can discuss that.

Honestly, I'm pretty flexible to work with almost anything, but it is a very case-by-case basis for technical things, so if you aren't sure if I could work in your environment, shoot me an email and let's talk about it!
