What to expect
I am a great fit for weddings, proposals, dinners, social events, festivals, corporate events, funerals, and holiday parties. I use backtrack accompaniment which provides a full & exciting sound!! Depending on the song, event and/or location, I will use both my acoustic violin and my electric violin.
I'm experienced in classical, folk, rock, Latin, country, praise & worship, and pop. If a special song is desired, please have it to me prior to the event.
*MOUNTAINTOP/OUTDOOR EVENTS*
I am available for outdoor and mountaintop events. If your event is mountaintop, appropriate transportation to the top must be agreed upon before I accept the gig. Mountain weather can be very unpredictable and the logistics involved to get to the peak are more detailed, so rates will vary depending on location. I have coverage for inclement weather and areas that have no shade (10x10 black tent/canopy), but if the rain is too heavy or the winds are too high, I may not be able to play outdoors. However, I may still be able to provide music (via speakers). Some mountaintop venues have indoor backup space, so that is a great option!

I offer discounted rates for locals in Chaffee County, Colorado and for multiple booked events (e.g. proposal & wedding). My rates include practice time, any music purchased, travel time, setup and teardown, and performance time. Tips are not required, but they are absolutely appreciated!
About
I have been playing violin for over 35 years. I have played with several ensembles and multiple indoor & outdoor events in Tennessee, Georgia, New Mexico and Colorado. I performed three years straight in the Nashville Food & Wine festival. I currently live in Colorado and travel throughout the state to play for special occasions.

I provide all of my own sound equipment. Power needs depend on location and event. I have a black 10x10 canopy/tent for coverage when I play outdoors. I wear concert black unless requested otherwise.
