Overview

I offer solo violin music for many types of events including wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, proposals, and corporate events. I can play any genre of music and, if you are not sure what music you would like, I can make a list for you.
Disclaimer: Although I can play almost anything, some songs are not able to be played on solo violin because they do not translate well to one instrument with no backing track. I will always let you know my honest opinion about whether your song request is a choice that will sound good on solo violin.

Punctual, flexible, professional, extremely talented

Clara was the only violinist who met with me and my fiance in person prior to the ceremony so we could listen to her. She plays beautifully, and put our favorite songs to the violin including glass animals and pink pony club, which is no easy feat. She was punctual, professional and was flexible as start time did not go as planned (does it ever)?! 10/10 would recommend and hire her again.

Beautiful Performance

Clara was great to work with! We reached out to her before the wedding (recommended by the people at the butterfly house) and she was very flexible and great at communicating throughout the process of planning. She was open to playing ANY sort of song, and had great suggestions. I never had to stress about music during the ceremony the day of because she kept in touch leading up to the big day. The ceremony would not have been the same without the beautiful live music!

What to expect

I offer anywhere from one song to two hours of background music. I can be front and center or blend into the background.
If you have a song request, I can learn the song, but if you do not know what music you want, I can help you pick some options.
I do not use backing tracks; my music consists of live violin performance only.

Hi! My name is Clara, and I'm a classically-trained violinist from Rolla, Missouri.
I have been playing since I was eight years old. My first teacher was my father and my other two teachers were members of the St. Louis Symphony.
When I am not playing music, I spend my time proofreading and cuddling my dog.
I would love to be a part of your special day!
