Kyla is a genre-bending violinist known for fusing classical technique with modern flair. With over a decade of performance experience, she’s equally at home playing under the stars at Red Rocks or under string lights at an intimate wedding. Whether she’s performing with her string quartet (Red Rock Strings) or captivating audiences as her electric alter-ego (VXN.VLN), Ky brings passion, precision, and a spark of storytelling to every note.

Classically trained and creatively unleashed, she performs everything from Bach to Beyoncé—plus custom arrangements tailored to your vibe. Clients love her professionalism, warmth, and knack for reading a crowd.

Technical Requirements for VXN.VLN Performances

To ensure the best possible sound and performance experience, please review the following technical setup needs:

For Acoustic or Unplugged Violin Performances:
• No power or amplification required.
• Shaded or covered area appreciated for outdoor events (to protect the instrument).
• One armless chair (if seated performance is requested).

For Electric Violin Performances (VXN.VLN):
• One grounded power outlet within 25 feet of the performance area.
• Adequate lighting for evening performances.
• Flat, dry performance area (minimum 5’x5’).
• If you are providing sound reinforcement, please let me know the input options available (I use a 1/4” instrument cable or XLR if running through my DI box).
• If backing tracks are requested, I will provide my own playback device and wireless transmitter; I simply need a way to plug into your PA.

For Larger Events (with 50+ guests or outdoor venues):
• I can provide my own compact speaker system (Electro-Voice Evolve 30M) if needed — please let me know in advance if sound will not be provided.
• Setup time: ~60minutes. Please allow early access to the venue if possible.
• Performance space near a standard power outlet is required.

Optional Add-ons:
• For winter or holiday events, I may arrive in costume (Ice Queen / Snow Fairy theme), which may require a stable raised platform or performance space with easy access.
• For mobile/strolling sets, please ensure the venue has reasonably flat walking areas and allows wireless amplification (if needed).
