For 23 years I served my family as my Husband served our country in the US Navy. When he retired and our children had left home, I decided to chase a dream. At 52 years old I stepped on a stage, told jokes to a room full of strangers and their laughter was like a drug. Since then I've gone on to perform at comedy clubs, became a comedy instructor with the Armed Services Arts Partnership, a member of the Best Medicine Brigade, performed on Coast Comedy Live/WTKR-CBS, and perform regularly throughout Virginia and the Southeast.
I am proof you're never to old to chase a dream. Life is short, it's better when you're laughing.
