Matt Cohen:

A highly skilled and accomplished guitarist, Matt is well recognized for his improvisational abilities and capability to adapt to any musical situation. With a music certificate from the New England Conservatory of Music and a music degree from the University of Southern California, Matt has studied with notable instructors such as Hal Crook, Tim Miller, Frank Potenza, Bruce Forman, Julian Lage and Richard Smith. Playing in groups ranging from the Massachusetts All-State Jazz Band & the Mantovani Orchestra to USC's Superaxe ensemble and NEC Honor's Combo, Matt has been featured in many notable ensembles.

Along with a seasoned performance record, Matt is also an accomplished studio guitarist with plenty experience recording guitars at his personal studio in Los Angeles.

Phil Menchaca:

Born in Santa Barbara CA, Phillip has quickly become one of the most in demand trombonist in the Los Angeles area. His extensive performance experience has afforded him the opportunity to play with many notable artist that include Elton
John, Maria Schneider, Kristen Chenoweth, Poncho Sanchez, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, and many more. Having been a busy freelance trombonist in the Dallas, New York City, and Los Angeles areas has given Phillip the ability to adapt his playing to any style and venue. Phillip holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas, a Master’s from Rutgers University, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Classical Performance and Education from the University of Southern
California.
