The first segment will concern live gigs and the second half about sound design for Gaming, Film or Podcasts.

My live looping setup consists of a variety of percussion, singing bowls, electric guitar and a small synth with a pedalboard. Depending on the gig, I can vary the amount of percussion or other instruments. My gear setup space can vary from just needing a small sitting/standing area for my pedalboard to a two table percussion spread.
I can help create a calming mood for a gallery opening, perform a soundbath singing bowl meditation, a sound journey, loop some percussion with funky/rock guitar, or an avant-garde psychedelic improv. With the variety of gear, I'm very flexible to which vibe will fit the gig best for the audience and client. Whether it is jamming out centerstage or tucked in corner on low, I have the capabilities to create the right atmosphere.
I improvise heavily with my percussion, synth and guitar setup but can take song requests to perform an instrumental version.

Spices Peculiar is an avant-garde and meditative music project led by Dante Villagomez, who hails from Pittsburgh, PA and now resides in Denver, CO. With a focus on live looping, Dante intricately weaves together layers of guitar, synths, and percussion to create a truly unique sound. Drawing on elements of Ambient Electronica and Avant-Garde music, each release is a journey through uncharted musical territory.

Using a pedalboard geared towards looping, Dante creates an immersive and improvised experience, often featuring singing bowls, synths, and a variety of world percussion instruments. Spices Peculiar's ultimate goal is to transport listeners to new and inspiring musical landscapes, guiding them on a deeply meditative sound journey.

I need one three prong GFCI outlet a few feet from where I would be performing to power my gear and amplifier. I have a very self contained sound set up with my amplifier but can also connect to a PA system if available at the gig. I have two separate amplifier setups depending on the the physical space, noise restraints and the client's discretion.

For the rare occasion of a gig outside with no power source, I have a small battery powered setup for any location. The charge will last for almost three hours of playing.
