Southern California Brass Consortium

High-quality performances by a professional 26-member brass and percussion ensemble. We focus on accessible music, playing in many different styles, ranging from light classical music to film scores. Founded in 2013, the Southern California Brass Consortium (SCBC) grew out of the desire to form a large, professional brass ensemble that performs challenging, yet accessible music. There is nothing quite as exhilarating as the sound of brass and percussion. Our 26+ member group performs a wide range of compositions and styles. As a smaller ensemble, The Southern California Brass Quintet is comprised of members of the Southern California Brass Consortium. SCBQ performs at events across the Southland and beyond, including weddings, private events, recitals, and front lawn concerts. We play all styles of music, from jazz to pop to classical.
