My name is DJ Preston with Sound Wave DJ Services and we’re a local DJ/Event company that has DJed hundreds of Events all over the East Tennessee!
Our mission is to keep all of your party-goers dancing and having a blast! What sets us apart is that we provide our years of DJ experience and many add-ons (such as dance lighting, wireless mics, DJ event insurance, etc) at no extra cost, while our competitors often charge you for it. We also have a “no cheesiness” policy. We don’t play cheesy music, we don’t use 70’s disco ball lighting and we don’t get on the microphone (unless it’s for your announcements). We always play the right tunes at the right time!

May 3, 2022DJ Preston from Sound Wave was our DJ for our wedding and he did an amazing job! He got all of our songs in advance and actually played them when he was supposed to! (unlike my sister's wedding in which her DJ played almost none of the songs she requested)
He showed up early, had a nice setup and was friendly throughout the entire process. We will use him for any future events as he also packed the dance floor!

December 10, 2019We hired Sound Wave for our big day last summer and they had good communication right from the start and first email. Preston was our DJ and he made it clear that he would be as involved as we wanted, or let us make all of the decisions. He only suggest things that we asked him about (after making it clear he would be happy to help with anything leading up our wedding) and it was perfect!
He made sure everyone had a great time at our wedding and we couldn't have been happier! Thanks again Preston and Sound Wave!

November 20, 2019My wife did most of the communicating with them leading up to it, but she said they were always very responsive up until our wedding, and I can vouch that they did a great job during it! The music was exactly the type we asked for and everyone kept saying how good our DJ was, even after the wedding was over. I've been to a lot of weddings, so I know a good (and bad) DJ when I see one. These guys are the best around, no question about it.

October 31, 2019These guys are great! DJ Preston and his assistant did our wedding over the summer and I've been meaning to write a review, but they were amazing! We emailed a ton leading up to it and they always got back to us right away. They picked all of the right songs and everyone had a blast! their "dj booth" type setup looked awesome and much better than the DJ at my sister's wedding that just brought a couple speakers. Going to hire them again for future events. Thanks!

January 8, 2019We hired Preston to DJ our holiday party, and he did a phenomenal job! It was for our hospital, and I don't think I've ever seen more of the doctors on the dance floor! The year before, the DJ never got more than 4 people dancing, but Preston was great at picking good songs and blending them together, it really kept the party going late in to the night. We plan on hiring him again next year if he is available. Thanks, Preston:)

I show up approximately 90 minutes before the event starts for setup (no charge for this), work your event in the exact manner you request, then stay around 60 minutes after the event for tear down (no charge for this either).
I will be in contact before your event to gather all details to make sure it goes just as you imagine!
DJ Preston has been in the business for over a decade. He has DJed nearly every type of event under the sun! Including everything from Sweet 16's, school dances, weddings, reunions, and everything in between! He will work with you to create the exact vibe you are looking for and has a 5 star Google\Yelp rating.
I use only the highest end audio and lighting gear and can support crowds of over 300 on the dance floor.
